Anthropologie is known for their eclectic mix of attire and accessories, but it is a tad pricey for my frugal ways. That does not stop me from shuffling through the sale racks that is usually stocked with delightful discounts. Another spot in the store where are sure to discover a deal is the houseware section.
The “at home” section at Anthropologie has an extensive selection of unique pieces for decorating your living space. These items range from artistic aprons to quirky cabinet knobs and the dining items are as cute as can be. They have a variety of vibrant, bright dishes and glassware that are both whimsical and practical. An all time favorite of mine is the latte bowl! The bowls come in all sorts of solid shades, but with each season comes a new collection of colors. So buy all one color, buy by hue, or mix however you like! At $6 each you can create a rainbow of dish ware that will make you smile every time you eat a bowl of cereal.
This “at home” section has prices that even us conservative spenders can appreciate. So find an Anthropolgie near you and fill your cabinets with some thrifty fun!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.

This dishware is gorgeous…I love all the colors. As Brent would say, we could set “an exciting table” with all these cool pieces!
