Living in the city, we all know that you have to make your small space work for your often oversized lifestyle. While this can seem impossible, Apartment Therapy shows us all how to use the space we have to our advantage and how to keep our homes stylish at the same time.
On Thursday, October 28 from 5-8pm, Apartment Therapy Founder, Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, will be on the fourth floor rooftop of Room and Board’s newest Washington, DC location (1840 T Street, NW) for a book signing event. Maxwell’s newest book, Apartment Therapy’s Big Book of Small, Cool Spaces, will give you an array of tips and tricks on how to update your own small space and creative ways to make storage abundant in your home.
While you are enjoying the refreshments at the book signing, check out Room and Board’s many pieces that can assist in making your home more spacious and contemporary. The furniture at Room and Board can be customized to fit homes of any size and style.
Books will be available for sale at the event for $30 and the event is open to the public. Please rsvp to http://roomandboard.com/apt-therapy-event. Enjoy an evening of partying in style while you think of how to improve your own home’s look and feel with help from Apartment Therapy and Room and Board.

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
