Bethesda Row is a prime location for boutique browsers and nightlifers, but next week it gets even better with an event that joins the two. Bethesda Row Boutique Week is six days of fashion filled events starting Monday, October 4 through Saturday, October 9. Each day features a new boutique, a new guest, fabulous trunk shows and, best of all, in-store discounts!
The week begins on Monday, October 4 at Ginger from 6-8pm with the author of The Devil Wears Prada, Lauren Weisberger! Lauren is launching her new fashionable fiction novel, Last Night at Chateau Marmont. Also there will be DailyCandy DC editor, Annie Lou Bayly. Stay for a sweet treat from Georgetown Cupcake and see the White + Warren Trunk Show (which will be at Ginger all week long).
On Tuesday, October 5 from 5-7pm, a trunk show by Kenneth Jay Lane and Lauren G. Adams jewelry will be featured. The show will be hosted by J. MacLaughlin and Andrea Rodgers of AskMissA.com (a blog built to answer life and style questions). Also, don’t miss beauty samplings at Aveda Bethesda.
Wednesday, October 6 brings an all day Shoshanna trunk show hosted by Urban Chic and Betsy Lowther of FashionisSpinach.com. Be the first to see and buy Shoshanna’s 2010 fall collection with discounts and treats throughout the evening.
Thursday, October 7 from 6-8p, Sassanova and Poshbrood.com hosts a book signing by news anchor Norah O’Donnell and her husband, Chef Geoff Tracy for their new book BabyLove (a guide to healthy and easy meals for babies and toddlers. Georgetown Cupcakes will supply delicious deserts throughout the evening.
Friday, October 8 from 10am-9pm lululemon athletica will host an event with Karen Watkins from MoCo Scene and Bethesda Magazine. This event will demonstrate how lululemon’s apparel works and lululemon ambassadors will be available to coach everyone on health, fitness and how to achieve balance in life.
Saturday, October 9 from 10am-7pm wraps up the week in a big way with the final event at LUNA, along with BrightestYoungThings.com hosting the Soft Joie trunk show. The line is full of soft knits in a mix of styles exclusive to LUNA. Stay late for bubbly from 5-7pm.
As if all this wasn’t enough, Bubble Salon on Bethesda Row will offer a complimentary conditioning treatment with any blowout service.
