Coming Soon: East Coast Chic Boutique!

East Coast Chic is excited to announce the upcoming launch of East Coast Chic Boutique!  Since June of 2010, ECC has brought readers favorite fashion thoughts and spots from the nation’s capital on what to wear and where to find it.  Now you cannot only read about what to wear, but actually buy it here!  ECC Boutique will soon bring you a variety of vintage and other fashions via an online boutique.  ECC focuses on affordable fashion and will carry classy and cool vintage at reasonable prices.

ECC believes unique vintage should be shopped because of the diverse style and story it brings to your wardrobe.  However, vintage should not necessarily scream vintage.  The goal is to create a look that no one else can replicate.  Pairing a vintage piece (sometimes two) with more modern items will do exactly that.

With the guidance of Katherine Limon of CARBON, a DC eco-chic boutique, ECC has been learning about the significance of green fashion in our world today.  The idea is to make sustainable styles accessible to shoppers, while teaching them the importance of knowing what they are wearing.  ECC’s take on the eco-fashion movement is to reuse and recycle clothing from the past.  ECC Boutique will kick-off with a holiday event and trunk show appropriately held at CARBON Boutique.  Stay tuned for details.

Over the next couple of weeks you will see sneak peeks of pieces from ECC’s holiday collection that can be found at the upcoming trunk show and online at ECC Boutique.  The collection is filled with Jacky O-like jackets and blazers that will take you from the office to dinner, from day to night, along with other tops in rich materials and deep colors that can be used for layering throughout the season.  Here is your first preview of just some of the styles you can wear so many ways:
