Fall Fashion Week in NYC is long gone, but the buzz is still alive. Along with Fashion Week was the 2nd annual Fashion’s Night Out. I was in New York City to celebrate the fashion industry with the rest of the world and it was a night to remember! The streets and the stores were filled with shoppers in their stilettos ready to party and spend money.
Celebrities were sprinkled throughout the city all night long. I was able to catch a glimpse of Kimora Lee at Macy’s where I purchased my Fashion’s Night Out t-shirt. Also spotted was Neil Patrick Harris while shooting the Fashion’s Night Out show for CBS. While people went out to see their favorite celebs, the designers and others from the fashion field were the stars of the evening. My main stop was to see Rachel Zoe in downtown Manhattan at the Piperlime pop-up store. It was complete chaos! The line for the store was around the block and I simply got a peek of the reality star as she was leaving the venue.
The evening was a major success and I have decided to make Fashion’s Night Out an annual trip to NYC. If you were not able to be there, you can still check out the party by watching Fashion’s Night Out on CBS. The show will not only inspire you to attend FNO in 2011, but it will inspire you for many reasons. Fashion is a lifestyle and it takes an army of hard working people to make up this uber successful industry. I will not miss Fashion’s Night Out next year and you better not either!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
