Whether you have the day off from work or not, remember that Veteran’s Day is a day to acknowledge and honor the men and women who have fought for our freedom. It is not only important to think about those who have sacrificed their time and lives for our country and each of us, but also to give back to them. While it is always best to give, it is kind of fun to give at get at the same time!
Ginger Boutique at Bethesda Row is celebrating Veteran’s Day with an event to give back to our soldiers. The second annual benefit for the Wounded Warriors Project will be held at Ginger on Thursday, November 11 from 6-8pm. Shoppers will be able to meet jewelry designer Suzanne Somersall and purchase her pieces. Also, $15 will get you a chance at a raffle to win a Suzanne Somersall piece worth $1,000. Enjoy Georgetown Cupcakes and champagne while you shop.
Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Wounded Warriors Project which raises awareness and enlists the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, helps injured service members aid and assist each other service members and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
So celebrate Veteran’s Day by honoring our soldiers and shopping Suzanne Somersall at Ginger!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
