Now that the weather is chilly and the flee markets are shutting down for the season (or I just don’t want to go because it is to cold), I have to find another facet to find unique, funky items for my wardrobe. eBay is just the place and it is super convenient in all ways. I have spent hours on the shopping site searching for items I’d like to add to my closet, but I especially want to mention the handbag I just bought.
Normally, I am drawn to totally solid, neutral bags in black and brown, throw in a vibrant patent red and maybe (if I’m feeling dangerous) a metallic clutch, but that’s usually the most adventurous I get with my accessories. However, the second I spotted this bag I had to have it.
It is a world map doctor style handbag. So unique and yet neutral enough as it comes in an all over tan with the continents colored in varying shades of green and brown. Very vintage looking, but brand new (the best of both worlds). The bag is a great way to add a splash of wow to your wardrobe without going overboard. It can be worn with your anything from solid, bold colors or with other patterned neutrals.
The best part about this worldly accessory is that you can buy it now from a couple of sellers for an unbeatable price (mine was $24 including shipping) or find another seller and make a bid. Search map handbag on eBay and you will see the piece in several styles and other shades. There are even some beautiful, actual vintage map bags if you are interested in spending a bit more.
So hold the world in the palm of your hand everyday with a world map handbag from eBay!
