As a fashion fanatic I am always searching for new, interesting creations. Not just clothes that look good, but clothes that have a story behind them. House Rossil has beautiful, trend-setting frocks that are produced using a historic process from overseas. The collection is filled with a variety of dress designs in ethnic prints. Dresses in sheath, kimono, halter styles and more with strategically placed cutouts, hooks, folds and flaps. The collection gets even better with separates like high waisted skirts and cropped jackets.
The bold prints and quality fabrics of these ensembles are not just unique by design, but unique because of how they are created. House Rossil uses wax-print fabrics to construct their garments. Wax-print fabrics are essential to West African traditional dress design. Surprisingly, the most desired designs in African dress are manufactured in the Netherlands. These loud, but memorable prints are created using several versions of wax-printing including Dutch wax-prints, Dutch superwax prints, Dutch wax block and Dutch java wax. Whatever the process, the print is sure to be outstanding!
See these innovative styles in many imaginative prints this weekend at the House Rossil Trunk Show at the Maris Elaine Gallery at National Harbor (178 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD 20745). Meet the designer, pre-order and receive a 20% discount when you visit the trunk show this Friday, January 28 and Saturday, January 29 from 11am-9pm and Sunday, January 30 from 11am-6pm.
House Rossil takes this unique printing process to produce these statement-making pieces. Visit the trunk show to find your own special quality piece with character.

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
