I remember wearing purple floral stirrups in elementary school and I thought I was just as fashionable then as I hope I am now. That fad faded quickly, but is back in and better than ever mixed with the more current trend of leggings and jeggings.
You can get stirrup tights for a casual day, but my favorite are the stirrup jean leggings. Gap currently has their legging jeans on sale for $59.99. That is a bit much for my budget, but jeans are often an exception and can be a bit tricky. You want to spend a little more when it comes to jean, because good jeans make a big difference. You also don’t want to spend too much on a trend that may not be around forever.
These stirrup legging jeans from Gap are versatile, though, so worth the money. Especially in the classic colors like the dark denim and black (by the way, it is a necessity to have a pair of perfect black jeans) that will never go out of style. Having said that my favorites are, of course, not the basic black. The coated black wash legging jeans are flattering because they are still dark like the others, but with a bit more funk.
Also, I love skinny jeans with tall boots, but I hate how they get all scrunched up. Stirrups are the solution to my problem, but can also be worn with heels any time! So wear them now and then, again and again! Your cost per wear will be next to nothing.
Gap is known for their jeans and these are not the only style you should be looking for. Gap’s new wide leg trouser jeans, while completely different then the skinny jeans referenced earlier in this post, are amazing on everyone. You should wear a style that flatters and fits you well, but never limit yourself. FYI – there is also a pair of Perfect Trouser Pants with a tuxedo stripe for $59.99. This is a requirement in any woman’s men’s wear wardrobe. Remember to be adventurous when it comes to dressing below the belt with a variety of fits and cuts and the Gap is a great place to start!

Love the trouser pants!
