Anthropology is a known for giving us shabby chic style whether with their selection of accessories, clothing or home goods. Their frocks are fabulous, but my favorite products delivered by this whimsical retailer are the home goods. In addition to the adorableness of their décor, it is surprisingly affordable.
I have a very cohesive dishware set with matching everything, almost. I use mugs to mix up my matching kitchen décor. I’m mugsessed! It is my collector’s item because they actually serve a purpose. I am, however, picky about my mugs. They must be special, whether a souvenir to remember a moment or just because I love its look. Monograms are also something that has meaning. At Anthropology I can find multiple monogram mugs – heaven!
Their stonewash Monogram Mugs have been available for some time – got mine years ago. If you are like me, buy one to add to your collection or if you want a full set of 12 (make it like a game of Scrabble) you can get many mugs because they are only $6!
New to Anthropology’s dishware designs is the Samantha Robinson Homegrown Monogram Mug. These will add some color to your mugware with each initial (doodled by Anthropology’s in-house designer) in a different pigment and pretty pattern. Priced at only $8, again, by one or many.
Whether mugs or other adorable dishware, Anthropology will keep your cupboards cute! Also see another of ECC’s favorites, the colorful Latte Bowls ($6 each)!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
