I am happy to see jeans are making a comeback in a big way. Not just your regular, classic boot cut jeans, but jean shorts, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans and more. There are so many ways to make this common piece come back to life. One of my favorites that I have not seen for years – OVERALLS! Now, I had a pair of these years ago and remember hearing they are not something you should wear, but I totally disagreed at the time and still do to this day. I remember I begrudgingly got rid of them when the “experts” told me to grow up and get off the farm. But they are back and I am on the hunt for a new pair. Overalls are an easy, casual piece that can be super cute (if done right)! You have to be careful how you wear overalls because they could make you look childish and doughty. Be sure they are not too big on you. They should be a little loose, like boyfriend jeans fit, but not oversized. Also, keep it simple on top with a tank top or even a fitted printed button up. Be careful with the color and print of the top, though, because you don’t want to look like you are up early to milk the cows. I will keep you posted on my hunt for the perfect pair and what I find to go with them!
