It is not difficult to shop and stick to a budget, but you have to be willing to look everywhere and anywhere for the best pieces at the best prices. You must be willing to use all avenues to find unique items and Woodmont is just the avenue to get you started. A recent trip to Bethesda led me to REDDz Trading (7801 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814). My first REDDz experience was too good, so I went back the next day for my second! REDDz is not consignment, but rather resale. They buy your clothes on the spot for cash or for a trade card for you to find new to you items from the floor.
At REDDz you will find gently used, and even new, quality items from many fashion forward chain stores (Banana Republic, Express, J.Crew, etc) to major designers (Chanel, Dior, DVF, lots of Lilly Pulitzer, Michael Kors, YSL, etc) and all this inventory for a fair price! The shop is extremely clean and in order which makes finding everything easy which, in turn, makes spending money even easier. Of course, buying more is a non-issue with the reasonably priced inventory.
Within walking distance from the Bethesda Metro station you cannot not take the time to go to REDDz Trading whether you are located in DC, Maryland, Virginia or simply visiting the area. Get to REDDz for resale reinvented!
If you need more persuading, here is what I brought home from REDDz. On the first trip I found a silk J.Crew dress, Anne Klein black sheath and Tom K. Nguyen pastel tweed skirt with a high front slit and visible floral slip (super unique) all for under $15. The second stop got even better with an LBD from Express, sheer black LBD (you can never have to many LBDs), cowl neck brown sweater (which I intend to put under a black blazer) and a neon green, so low v-neck Salvatore Ferragamo dress (AMAZING) all for $20 or less. OK…you should need no more convincing…go…now…hurry!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
