One of DC’s favorite MidCity vintage shops, Treasury Vintage Clothing and Curios, has taken over ownership of Adams Morgan’s legendary Meeps Vintage Fashionette as of Thursday, December 1. Treasury will continue the tradition of Meeps as it enters its second decade in DC. A remodel and relaunch in 2012 will bring a new buy-sell-trade feature to this vintage vendor. In addition, Treasury will still offer shoppers the same stylish vintage selection that put them on the map and keep current with the local DC fashion scene by introducing inventory from talented local designers.
Celebrate the joining forces of Treasury and Meeps this Tuesday, December 6 (5-9pm) at the official launch party at Meep’s current location (2104 18th Street NW, Washington, DC). Shop your heart out to help make room for new merchandise with a super sale. Fill a bag for $20 with current and inventoried stock! While you shop listen to music from DJs Baby Alcatraz (Smashing Time) and Sara (Kicks!, Pow Wow), sip sparkling drinks and enjoy snacks throughout the evening.
A new era in vintage fashion is beginning here in DC with the joining of these two well-known shops. Help Treasury and Meeps kick-off their new venture while helping yourself to some of their retro stock now for nearly nothing.

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
