No, I’m not talking about the classic holiday tune sang by the unmistakable Burl Ives. I’m talking about silver and gold accessories. Everyone has a favorite when it comes to these two options. If you are like me, though, you tend to think silver goes with certain outfits and gold with others. This is a habit I have always had, but is not how you should think. Don’t limit yourself when it comes to selecting accessories. But if you are stuck in this state of mind, how do you get these classic metals to go with anything? Try a piece that incorporates both silver and gold.
For some reason, just like neutrals (black, brown, navy, gray), people think that silver and gold can not be worn together. This is so not true! These two metals create a very chic and classy look that will never ever go out of style (again like neutrals).
This is extra important when selecting accessories you wear on a regular basis like a watch. Also, fun to mix is silver and gold bangles for your wrist. Stack them high on your forearm for a dramatic effect.
