OK, so this post is simply about three items I found while browsing J.Crew that I really can’t live without. There is no rhyme or reason to the selection like usual as in all shoes or all accessories. Nope, the only common denominator is everything can found at J.Crew. Oh and also that I like them and wanted to share!
Baseball Henley – $39.99 (was $52)
I love love love a baseball henley any day, whether on a woman or a man. I don’t need to make any excuses for this very versatile top because while you can wear with skinny jeans or cutoffs. When you do wear with jeans, leave the top out and hang a belt loosely around your hips. To dress up, which you can totally do with this top, try pulling the top over a somewhat full skirt so the skirt sticks out right at the bottom, just enough so people know it is there, or even tucked into a high-wasted full skirt for a flirty look. The top also looks ultra-sexy with your hair and makeup done up no matter how you decide to sport this baseball top.
Jelly Thong Sandal – Silver for $29.50 (was $49.50) or Pecan for $49.50
A metallic works just like a neutral. It can go with any color (even another metallic). Jellys are also a nice alternative to the usual thick rubbery flip flops that people love so much (for what reason, I do not understand). Yes, this sandal is close to being a flip flop but slim sole and the back strap makes it a little more appropriate to go with many things.
So this last item isn’t necessarily one piece, but rather the many swimwear separates that are on sale already. Mixing and matching your top and bottoms is an amazing option for so many reasons. We are not often the same size on the top as we are on the bottom so being able to select the appropriate size of each allows you to fit comfortably and feel comfortable in your swimsuit. Picking different colors and prints for your tops and bottoms allows you to create your own unique bikini that, more than likely, no one else will have. This also means you can have many bikini options with only a few separate pieces, which means spending less money. J.Crew already has reduced the price on many of these separates even before summer has really begun so get online and build your bikini now!

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
