United Colors of Benetton Summer Sale Alert

I do not often shop at United Colors of Benetton because most items are usually just out of my frugal price range.  However, I could not resist stopping in yesterday when I saw the sale signs in the window.  If you have some time this weekend, definitely make the trip because it is for a limited time only, as all sales are.  All full price items are 30% off, not to mention tons of additional markdowns all over the store.  They have a great selection of summer casual wear and some structured pieces for work.

I have to rave about one specific item that I left the store with – the Red Dot skinny jeans!  Being 5’2″ it is hard for me to find jeans that are the perfect length.  I actually think these jeans are probably meant to be ankle jeans or even capri length for you leggy ladies (that I’m always jealous of), but the fit is fantastic even for the vertically challenged.  These dark wash, skinny jeans with zippers at the ankles are fabulous!  The zippers provide just enough detail to make the jeans very now (zippers are totally in, especially in unexpected places), without being too trendy, so I will be able to wear the jeans for years to come.  With 30% off the original price, the jeans were very reasonable and definitely worth the money (especially for a piece that I always have a hard time finding).
