If you did not make the Diamantina Trunk Show at CARBON Boutique (2643 Connecticut Avenue Northwest Washington D.C., 20008) last week, I’m not going to lie, you missed out! Not only did you miss the handbags, but also a chance to meet the lovely designer, Claudia Diamante. Lucky for you CARBON carries Diamantina always, so you still have a chance to shop the luxurious leather handbags anytime. The fall/winter preview was stunning with several styles in mixed materials. See some of my favorite Diamantina handbags, as well as some eco-friendly and fashionable footwear from CARBON that commanded attention. Learn more about CARBON and Diamantina with ECC’s past posts.
The Matisse may be the Diamantina bag for me. The shape is so cute and comes in many colors. The green, purple and leopard all three spoke to me! The purple incorporates multiple shades of the hue which makes it easy to wear day or night. The green is a sort of subtle color that will go with anything. Finally, leopard becomes a neutral worn in this way and is never out of season. See this triple threat below.
Everyone needs and everyday bag to hold carry their life with them. Here the Helenita is in black and purple and both are equally as beautiful. Two strap options make this tote totally versatile.
So there really are too many handbags to talk about here. In this panoramic pic see other styles including Blue, Eugenia, Grace, Isabella, Margoo and Susi in a variety of cool colors.
One of my favorite products are CARBON was for my feet! Gidigio Italian shoes have been sold exclusively at CARBON for the last five years. These three styles were irresistible to me. Owner Katherine Limon explained that that Gidigio creates women’s shoes with stacked heels for comfort on the cobblestone streets of Italy. I appreciate comfort in any heel and a flattering flat is even better.

East Coast Chic (ECC) began as a fashion blog in 2010. I created ECC because the diversity of style on the East Coast is inspirational and endless. ECC allows me to share my favorite fashion thoughts and spots from my headquarters in Washington, DC, as well as other trend setting states along the East Coast and beyond.
